MY flippen awesome weekend

My girlfriend makes me so happy that I can't keep a smile off my face when I see her or talk to her on the phone. Anyways, I had an awesome time this weekend. First of all the rest of my family was in California this weekend so I had the house to myself which was nice. On friday I spent the day cleaning my house and cutting the grass then it was the first week of my bowling league and I am very very rusty I SUCKED!!!! at bowling and I need to practice some before next week thank God that the bowling league lasts till May so that one week of bad bowling won't kill our overall team ranking. On saturday I spent the entire day with my girlfriend we went to the St. Louis Fair and Air show for a little bit but I was really hot so we went to my house for a bit then back to her house so she could get ready for mass then we went to mass with her family followed by pizza hut then a b-day party with her family at her house with her grandparents and aunt and uncle since she was in cape during her b-day and her family didn't get to celebrate it with her like I got to. We finished the night by watch the movie Holes. On Sunday I had to work 11-7 then my family got back so I talked with them while my girlfriend had more family over for another b-day celebration. Then I went to the movies with my girlfriend and saw the movie Wedding Crashers which is a funny movie but I didn't see much of it . Now my girlfriend is on her way back to cape but I will hopefully visit her this weekend. Thats all for now.

hey all I had an awesome weekend this weekend! Friday was my girlfriends 19th birthday and I drove down to SEMO to visit her. We had a blast I took her to dinner at the pasta house then she showed me around SEMO's campus which is very hilly if you have ever been there u know. Then we spend some time in her dorm I was there till 2:30 am and she wouldn't let me leave and i didn't want to leave but I had to work the next day so I had to get on the road. I was very sleepy but i had the music blasting and i stopped half way and took a walk to wake myself up. Saturday i worked all day then talked to my girlfriend most of the night. Then today is the only day this week that i didn't have work or school its been nice I got my laundry done and can relax a little. Well the next time i blog will probably be after labor day weekend since my girlfriend will be up here I will write all about it then. Have a good week especially to all those seminarians and those going to SLU good luck in your first week of classes.

Well hello everyone! Sorry I haven't blogged in a while but I haven't had anything blog worthy going on till recently. What is the thing so blog worthy that it tore me away from my life to write this blog. One person.....ASHLEY! She is the most wonderful girl I had ever met. She is beautiful, sweet, funny, kind, and everything I am looking for in a girl. She is the perfect girl for me She is on my subscriptions list if you want to see her pretty face lilashstl05....but guys hands off she's mine . I GOT A JOB!!!!! For the past month and a half, excluding the Florida trip, I have been searching for a job and today I had my first job interview at the St. Louis Dugout, at Mills Mall. The interview went well and the manager said he had a few other interviews that day and that he was only looking to fill one position. He said that he would call me tomorrow or Sunday and let me know if I got the job or not. Well I just got off the phone with him and I got the job. The job has a great starting salary of $7.50 an hour and it is a small store so I will be working alone some of the time but not for the first two weeks. I have 20 hours of work next week and couldn't be happier. Finally something to do during the week. I think I will go out and celebrate tonight.

THE SINGLE LIFE

Its been about a month since I offically left the seminary and I got to say the single life is hard. I knew it wasn't going to be easy getting a girlfriend or finding new girls to meet and I wasn't expecting much over the summer but it has been an exciting summer so far. I spent the first few weeks looking for a job and was sadly unsuccessful. The the month of June started and I took a break from the job hunting to fly down to florida to see a very good friend of mine. She is a great girl and I trust her with a lot. She was my prom date back in high school which was very nice of her since everyone at my high school knew I was going into the seminary and I was afraid I wouldn't have a date for my senior prom. She moved back down the Florida the summer after high school and I ended up visiting her for one day with my family when we were down in Florida to visit my cousins. Last summer she came up to St. Louis to visit all of her old friends and I kinda played host while she was up here since I was the only one who saw her everyday and I drove her and her cousin to a lot of places. I would be lying to say I didn't feel something for her but at the time I was in the seminary so I tucked those feelings away. After deciding to leave the seminary she was one of the first to know and she gave me a lot of support and courage to help me tell my parents and friends about my decision. What she also said to me was that there could never be a relationship between us. She said that while she was up here last summer she was wondering to herself why she wasn't feeling anything for me because I was such a great guy and a great friend to her. But the feelings just were not there for her. When I was down there this summer I still had those feeling for her but I know her feelings so I kept them tucked away. It was very hard to do that because her boyfriend had just left her for his ex-girlfriend and I just wanted to hug her for a long time and let her know everything would be ok. After getting back I was reading her blog and she had this to say about her life at this time "And isn't life just funny. I think it is. just the irony behind it all blows my mind. Like why is it that one day you wake up completely, hoplessly fallen in love with this guy that opens your mind to try new things and be this person that you didn't even know you could be. He's just what you're lookin' for the only problem is, that he's not as sure about you as you are about him. While another guy'll give you everything, has been there for you whenever you needed him, has been your best friend and respects you, but you don't feel a thing. Stuff like that keeps me up at night, cause it just doesn't seem fair. And I know I know... life isn't fair... blah blah blah." She is right life just isn't fair but there are plenty of fish in the sea and I will just have to look for one that has the same feelings for me as I have for her. I will let you guys know when I find one but not before I tell my best friend .

Howdy y'all! I know what you are thinking "why did he just use y'all" well I just got back from a trip to florida so I thought a little sounthern accent was in order. The trip was awesome! Myself and a good friend of mine of high school flew down to Tampa Florida to visit with another good friend of mine who moved down there after high school. We left on June 1st and after a connection in Dallas we arrived in florida around 9pm and was greeted with a big hug by my friend (both of the friends I am talking about are girls, guys do not hug period.) My friends parents were nice enough to let us stay at there place so we didn't have to pay for a hotel. So we drove from the airport to hear house in her little Chevy S10 which meant everytime we went somewhere one of us had to sit in the little seat in the back. We watched a movie at her house then went to bed. I couldn't sleep and didn't get to sleep till about 3am and when dawn arrived the sun shone right into my eyes and I coundn't fall back asleep so I only got 4 hours of sleep that night but I slept a lot better the next few nights. On June 2nd we got up and cooked a nice big breakfast then when to Busch Gardens picking up her cousin along the way so that we could have 4 people for the rides and stuff. Busch Gardens was fun but way to expensive I thought $60 for a one day pass! We went on almost all the rollarcoasters and saw the animals it was a nice day. After Busch Gardens we went back to her cousins house and watched a movie then when and saw The Longest Yard which was very good movie then went back to her house around 10pm and started watching another movie but didn't get through it because we were all just to tired. I fell asleep about 11:30pm and woke up again at 7:30am because of that darn sun in my eyes. After the girls woke up we got dressed and headed to Orlando for the day. I have cousins in Orlando and my friend from St. Louis has a friend who has a aunt who lives in Orlando so we went to visit with them. After a slight detour because someone (not me) read the directions wrong we arrived at my Aunt and Uncles house. After talking with my Aunt for a while we meet up with my friend's Aunt at Macaroni Grill at 3pm and had a nice long very late lunch. We headed back to my Aunt and Uncles house then went to my cousins apartment to meet up with them. Since they were playing video games and darts the girls decided to go to the mall while I stayed with my cousins and caught up with them. After kicking there butt in darts and losing badly at video games we went to winghouse which is like hooters. After we got back the girls were waiting for me and we had originally planned on staying the night in Orlando with my Aunt and Uncle but we were planning on going to the beach the next day and it was going to rain all day in Orlando but not in Tampa so after visiting with my Uncle we drove back that night and got back around 1am. I woke up at 10am on saturday so I guess I got use to the sun in my eyes. We went to St. Petersburg beach and walked up and down the beach talking but never got in because it was raining slightly and the water was too cold for the girls. So we went to the shops at the beach and I got a shirt. Then we headed back to her house and showered, changed, and ate then we went to the casino. In the state of Missouri you have to be 21 in order to gamble and I thought that was nationwide but I was wrong in the state of Florida the age is 18 so if you know of any other states that have the gambling age limit of 18 and not 21 could you let me know. Going to the Casino was awesome because I love playing texas hold'em and can only play online or in small groups with friends in Missouri. I lost $20 but I got to play for an hour and a half and had a lot of fun. I only won 1 hand but it was worth it. We got back to the house around 2:30 and had to get up for 10:30 mass so we didn't get much sleep that night. After mass we had brunch at the house then went to go play mini golf. Well we tryed playing mini golf but it had rained that morning and more the half of the holes were flooded. So we went to the mall and looked around to kill time before going to the airport. We got to the airport around 5pm and got our tickets. After looking at the tickets I was looking at the times and it looked like our connecting flight in Dallas to St. Louis was going to leave before our flight from Tampa arrived in Dallas so we went to the ticket counter and asked about it and the airline person was nice enough to tell us that they were having all kinds of delays and weather problems in Dallas so she put us on a nonstop flight to St. Louis. The only thing was that it was going to leave at 5:45 and it was about 5:20 when we got our tickets so we had to run up there then they wouldn't let me go through security because the ticket counter person had put the wrong name on my ticket so I ran back down to the ticket counter talked to a different person who put my name on a ticket for that flight but in a different seat so I ran back up to the security got through and made it in time but me and my friend would be sitting apart during the flight but that was ok and I had a window seat now which was nice. We arrived in St. Louis at 7pm and I called my mom to come pick me up since they were not expecting me till 11:30pm and I couldn't get a hold of them before the plane took off. It was a great trip filled with excitement and good times. I will be getting pictures soon and may post them so look for them later. I thank God for the wonderful trip I had and I hope everyone's summer is going good so far. Vale

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I have been busy setting up my room back home with my parents and looking for a job. Today is also my BIRTHDAY!!!! I am no longer a teenager so I feel old . Life is going good for me except that I need a job so if anybody can help me there that would be great. I am going to go see Star Wars Episode III tonight with some seminarians. It is great that even though I am no longer a seminarian I still have all those great friends. Well I hope everyone has a good day and I will write again about how the movie is. Vale

IT'S OVER IT'S OVER IT'S OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Summer vacation is finally here for me. I think I did very well on my exam today which is awesome. While it is great that it is over it is also sad. Tomorrow will be my last day as a seminarian . While I know it is the right thing to do I am still going to miss all the friends I made here. I know I will be up here a few times next year to visit. Maybe even play on the soccer team still . Well thanks for all of your prayers over this week and over the last two years. I will continue to pray for all my xanga friends. Vale
